I Can't Say Goodbye

I'm so lost without your pretty face.
So many questions. I could not understand.
I never really understood, up until now.
I know why you did it.
But you didn't have to.

I may not have always shown it, but I've always cared.

I might move on someday, but it's not what I want now.
I'll never forget you.

I hope you finally got what you wanted.
I hope you're happy.
But just know that you are missed and loved dearly.

New Beginnings

Just thought I'd get a new blog. Somewhat symbolizing a new start I guess. Kinda hoping this will motivate me to blog more and start writing again. I really miss writing lyrics and poems, not as though they were ever any good. The last time I wrote something was last year. And it goes like this..

" Listless lover,
I don't need to love you
The time we spend is calculated.

Eyes closed,
Endless hopes and dreams
Innocence of a child.

Fantasy over,
Reality comes through
Fools believe in what's fated.

Questions posed,
Met with lies by every means
Ignorance of a child.

Truth hurts,
Lesser than you know
Take the pain and heal. "

I know it's a kinda cynical take on love and romance. But it's who I am.
